Old Mine Tour - A Ride Through History.
Take a horseback tour of the last working
quicksilver mine in the Big Bend area. We wind our way through the
ruins and drop down into Rough Run creek. A circle to the base of
Maverick Mountain gives us a sense of the pioneer spirit that settled this
land.

3 Hour
Indian Head / Pictograph Ride
This ride has it all! A tour of the
old quicksilver mine and then a ride up onto Ocotillo Mesa for great views
of the Chisos Mountains and Big Bend National Park. We drop down
off the mesa to visit an old movie set and then make our way to a perfect
viewing spot to see the Indian Head pictographs.

Half Day w/Lunch
Chihuahuan Desert Ride
Now this is Fun! Take the best of our Old
Mine Tour and Ocotillo Mesa trails ending up at the Indian Pictographs
for lunch. Wait until you see what a wonderful meal we can pull out of
a pair of saddlebags. No sandwiches here!! After our picnic, we remount
and continue our exploration of the desert. History, scenery, good food,
and a trusty mount - all packed into a 4 ½ hour excursion!

2 Hour Sunset
Ride
Saddle up and head into the Painted Desert
created by the setting sun. The colors of the desert truly come to
life on this very special ride. After you experience the sunset from
Ocotillo Mesa…the romance of the Wild West will be a treasure in your heart
