Horseback Riding for Kids -- We Keep Fun Corralled!

There is little as satisfying as watching kids on horseback and the bond they experience with the animal! Our Cowboys & Cowgirls pride themselves on introducing kids and young people to the world of Horseback Trail Riding. Prior experience not required!
The youngest age we can take at our Big Bend Stables is 6 years old. If you have a little one in your party that doesn't quite meet that requirement, ask us about our kiddie corral! We want everyone to have a chance to hop up in the saddle. Your little one will be led around the corral a few laps by one of our wranglers so you can snap some pictures. There is no charge, but we do ask that you tip the wrangler to show them appreciation for their time!
Please keep in mind that little ones usually enjoy a shorter ride if it is their first time out.
All of our locations offer to lead riders of any age if they are not comfortable reining their own horse. Riders will receive individual, basic riding instructions before leaving the mounting corral.
If a minor is visiting with another family, the legal parent or guardian must fill out Participant Release Form online before the minor can ride at the Stables.
